Quick Shahi Paneer

 

photo (2)Shahi Paneer is a slightly thick gravy paneer dish consisting of tomatoes and cashewnut gravy. Being a part of the North Indian cuisine, it’s a lavishing dish for paneer lovers which can be made instantly. Majorly accompanied by chappati, it’s an Indianized version of cottage cheese dishes.

I have tried with this instant recipe which does not take more than 20 mins to prepare a lavish & shahi dish for you and your surprise guests.

Ingredients:

Method:

    1. Soak cashewnuts, khus khus and magaz in ½ cup milk overnight.
    2. Add green chillies, ginger, tomatoes, laung, whole pepper, elaichi and fresh cream and make a fine paste in a mixer.
    3. photoPut butter in a non stick pan, add sambhar masala and shahi paneer masala. Saute it for 2 mins.
    4. Add the cashew paste, red chilli powder, dhania powder, turmeric powder, sugar, salt and raisins.photo (4)
    5. Bring it to a boil, add paneer pieces and garam masala and serve hot!
