We visited the Cafe, Hyatt Regency on the special occasion of Republic day on 26th January 2015 and we were stunned with the specially laid elaborate buffet menu for the day. Centrally located, close to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, in the south Delhi posh locality, Hyatt Regency is one of the favourites today! The Cafe is the coffee shop of the hotel and one of the best in the area.
The ambience was well lit and nicely decorated. A special care was taken for the hygiene and any diner would love to be in such a place where you get the perfect ambience with instrumental music and a small waterfall just next to where you sit.
With the special offer of FLAT 30% off for the occasion, the place was well crowded with families and friends. The basic idea about offering this exclusive discount at the Cafe was to give a special experience to the guests of indulging in a widely spread buffet with a huge Indian selection for the patriotic day. The special elaborate menu comprised of more than 12 vegetarian and 8-10 non vegetarian salads, 3 soups and Tandoori starters and steaks along with the main course Indian dishes.
As an added incentive there was an overhaul of the confections and pastries at the dessert counter and at Sidewalk, the pastry shop at the hotel by their visiting guest Chef Gottfried Schuetzenberger, Executive Chef Food & Beverage F&B Administration all the way from Grand Hyatt Singapore.
The staff was very pleasant and was taking care well to provide you with the best experience along with the delicious food. We were well greeted and attended by assistant manager Mr. Sumit and our suggestions were given a prompt action by the entire team of staff.
An important aspect that was taken care well was the special care to segregate vegetarian food from non vegetarian was by having separate counters for them!
A place I mark as must visit with your family!
